Description

The IBC P-242C Control Replacement Kit contains the control board and touchscreen.

Touchscreen and Control Board - VFC, SL, CX, EX, VX Series.

  • Steel chassis removed: Effective immediately, all replacement kits will ship without the steel chassis, as most boilers already have one in place. This change helps simplify installation and reduce waste. 
  • Built-in capacitor: The new control board includes a built-in super capacitor, eliminating the need for the coin-cell battery previously used to retain memory during power loss. This enhancement provides improved reliability and no longer requires battery replacements.
  • Fully backward compatible: The P-242C is fully compatible with systems using the previous P-242B control board, ensuring a seamless replacement process. 
  • Advanced software and performance: Shipped with version 3.0x software, the P-242C supports future system enhancements, offers a faster boot-up process, and includes upgraded graphics with improved definition for a more intuitive user experience.
